- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There isn't really a standard pricing system as each situation is different and my pricing varies accordingly as to what is needed and/or required in the individual couples ceremony. I will say the the price starts at $100.00 (simple civil ceremony within the next two weeks and less than 10 miles from my office) and increases depending on desires and requirements of the individual couple.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It usually starts with a phone conversation to make arrangements to meet. I prefer that the couple (if they are familiar with the area) pick a location to meet. Upon meeting I am a very good listener at the beginning so I can get a real good idea as to what they are wanting in their ceremony. I make a suggestion or two as to what I feel they desire and let them tell me if I'm understanding their desires. Once all is agreed on the business part comes up. They usually already know the fee but it is now time for me to collect the deposit (if there is going to be one) and sign the contract for my services, along with going over the address of the wedding location and if I'm going to be needed at the rehearsal (also included in my service fees). I am always available afterward to answer questions and assist with any other associated problems. Next is either the rehearsal or the wedding. I hope this is helpful in understanding the process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I study my Bible daily. I also from time to time take a Seminary course to assist in my continuing effort become an even more knowledgeable minister. I hold a Doctorate of Divinity Degree
