I have a very difficult dog, with major anxiety issues. He does not do well in kennels so I had opted to leave him at home while on vacation, and wanted someone to come into my house to walk him and spend time with him. April Schumacher exceeded my expectations in every way. While I was on vacation she sent me texts with pictures and updated me daily, since she knew that I had anxiety over leaving my dog. She left daily notes that I was able to review upon my return. April also brought my mail and newspapers in, and had offered to water plants and turn lights on while I was gone. She spent a whole hour with my dog for each visit. The weather was super hot and my dog was not wanting to walk much during the afternoon visit. She noticed that he kept going by her car and sniffing around so she asked him if he wanted to go for a ride. I hadn't told her how much he loves car rides. That became their routine in the afternoon - a short walk, a ride in the car, and then chilling or playing in the house. April is a true animal lover and devotes her life to rescuing animals and taking care of animals. She even donates money to an organization that feeds animals, based upon how many miles she walks dogs. April was kind and professional in every way and I highly recommend using her services. She loves your animal and treats your animal as her own. After communicating with her on my first day of vacation, I could relax, knowing that my dog was in good hands. Because of my confidence in April, I had peace of mind and was able to enjoy my time away from home. If you want to ask me anything about this review, please contact April for my email address and I will be happy to answer any questions.
I had a really temperamental rescue German Shepard who had pretty bad food aggression and refused to do any obedience. We had a mutual friend who always spoke about how awesome her dogs behaved, and her mother is a well known dog trainer in our area. I was hesitant at first because she had never had any professional experiences with a company, but man was I wrong. She is so patient with her students and offers take-home training for really troubled ones. I am so happy that my dog is now happier and more trusting, and I'm definitely happier.
I have raised and rescued animals all my life, and currently have five now! I love and understand dogs especially and feel most free when caring and loving them all, even caring for other's pets; I treat them all as if they were my own. I have references and would would be willing to meet a client first, and I am used to traveling, especially more rural areas. I hope to be considered a candidate . Thank you for your time. I look forward to hearing from you in the near future.
I love walking and working with dogs. I usually train horses, but since hardly anyone around here owns horses, I will work with dogs.
I specialize in dog care as in training for $15/hour, obedience for $100/pet/month and conditioning for $200/pet/month. I have four years of experience, and I am willing to work on weekends on work on pricing as per case-by-case basis.
I am a dog trainer student hoping to get certified through CPDT and am a member of APDTA.. I use positive-based luring to get the dogs to learn and also use their dog food as the rewards. I would like to establish a safe place where classes for socializing dogs and puppies could be offered. I donate a portion of my earnings to the shelter for the LCHA.
I train dogs to behave, so much so that you won't need a leash. I also do dog grooming, dog walking and dog sitting/boarding. I also make custom collars and harnesses for any furry pet.
I am a Dallas, TX resident, and I love assisting my community and caring about the well-being of each and everyone's needs.
Dogs are my passion. I love caring for them and have a special connection when tending to their needs. Harley, my dog, is especially fond of walks and learning new tricks.
I am a San Diego based pet sitter who recently moved to Texas. My career began in middle school when I first started as a volunteer providing a foster home for dogs and cats. Later on in high school, I moved on to volunteering at the San Diego Bird Rescue. Since then, I have been with the rescue for four years, and I have been a dedicated animal supporter. I can pet sit for anything that you need me to at a very affordable cost. Anything from paws to claws, I am there. I am still with the rescue and, currently, am looking for ways to earn funds to help keep my rescue going.
