Had such a great experience!!! My TV is mounted perfectly and he was even able to fix my frustrating IKEA furniture!! I will definitely be a longterm client.

Thank goodness I found Jason on Thumbtack!! He was super quick to respond to my inquiry and came out next day to hang some artwork and clear an exterior dryer vent. He was so friendly and personable. The art was not easy to do at all (he had to attach wires/hooks as well as the frames did not come with them attached) and they were hung in a difficult to get to location - but he made it look perfect! Very reasonably priced as well. I will definitely use Able Services LLC for any future handyman work! Thank you Jason!

Jason did a wonderful job. He was on time, he checked out the toilet to see why it was constantly running. Then he went and bought the parts and installed them all within an hour. Also charged half of what a plumbing company wanted for the same job. He cleaned up and everything is working perfectly. I’ve already got another project for Jason to do. Great handyman!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I tried to set my fee at or a little below the average for the area. I don’t want to undercut or steal clients from hard working people but I do want to get established on Thumbtack and in my area. I would like a minimum of one hr for any job. Meaning if I come out and it takes 45 min I would like pay for an hour. Anything 30 min or less I will negotiate. I at least like to cover the cost of gas for travel.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to introduce myself with a little more background detail. I like to find out there thoughts and expectations on the work needed and the outcome expected. I basically want to become friend and hopefully longtime “go to” guy for them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Not a lot in the “official” sense of the words. As I said, grew up on a farm, little money so I had to learn how to do things. Worked at a chemical plant for 31.5 yrs before being “downsized”. Over the years, I have done many a different job for various people. All, to my knowledge, have been very pleased with my work.
