I had my first lesson today and have never had any experience in music theory or the piano. Not only did I learn about the instrument itself, but I also learned how to read some notes and play two songs in just one lesson! I highly recommend!!!
Jim is an awesome teacher of music theory and the guitar. His love of music and enthusiasm for the guitar will inspire you.
At first I was skeptical taking music theory from someone who is a piano player and not a guitar player like myself, but I was extremely impressed with his vast music knowledge and concepts/teaching methods. I now look at my instrument and practicing in a whole new light. I'm starting to improvise and write my own music now. If you're looking at taking your playing/musical talent to the next level then I would definitely recommend Ryan.
I highly recommend lessons with Amy. Her teaching style is rooted in a deep understanding of music theory, and a love of teaching that keeps lessons fun and motivating. I leave every class excited to practice and improve!
Jeff has been giving my 3 kids music lessons for the last 5 years. My 18 year old became an accomplished drummer under Jeff's instruction. Because of his varied talents, Jeff has been able to accommodate my 13 year old's wandering interests.(so far we've covered the bass, guitar and drums ;-) 0 My daughter, who is 9 has been taking lessons from Jeff since she was 6 and I'm always amazed by what she plays at home. Jeff is great with kids and adults alike and I would highly recommend him to anyone with a desire to learn an instrument!
Ray is very knowledgable and works well with kids. He is able to explain music concepts such that my 11-year old is able to clearly understand. He is able to recognize and correct bad violin technique. Having him come to our home to give lessons is also very convenient.
Amy instructed my teenage daughter in voice and music theory over the course of about two years. Amy has a wonderful way of looking into the heart of a student to help them reach individual goals, customizes sessions and selections, and provides the proper challenge and encouragement to reach the next level. My daughter gained confidence in performance and now preforms with Opera Leggera, a local light opera group. Amy was also able to assist in coaching a last minute trio production for high school graduation that involved three girls with completely different vocal styles who never sang together previously . Her instruction paid off for a flawless rendition of The Star Spangled Banner, and all three girls and parents were impressed with the impact Amy's coaching had in only a few sessions. Amy's integrity, compassion, and her absolute love of music provide inspiration and excellence to students of all levels. Her pricing is fair and competitive. Superb accompaniment tracks are easily produced for minimal charge. Having moved on to college, my daughter greatly misses her time with Amy, and considers her not only a teacher, but friend.
Over the last 10 months I have been taking weekly piano lessons at the Vanover Music Academy in Houston with Dr. Krume Andreevski. My teacher is a highly educated talented pianist with real-life teaching experience while actively involved in performing musical activities. As an adult student I enjoy learning piano in a very casual, relaxed atmosphere. However, I very much appreciate that Krumes teaching attitude provides strong discipline and professionalism. Friendly, approachable, organized, enthusiastic and very articulate Krume cares deeply about improving his piano teaching practices. He shows great flexibility to best accommodate each students unique skills, abilities, goals and needs. I do my scales, arpeggios, chords, Hanons and piano course exercises but at the same time my teacher insists on me playing Schuman (for now) because the ultimate goal of learning piano is making music. With exemplary stage presence and charisma, Krume has a special gift to connecting with his audience and always gets a great emotional response from his public. Joyfully alive, skillfully delectable, honest and filled with heartfelt emotion, his piano playing is always inspiring. I strongly recommend Mr. Krume Andreevski for students of all skill levels and ages who understand that learning the piano is a serious commitment. To achieve piano playing mastery you need the best quality teaching.

Easy to arrange an in-person meeting within a couple of days. The teacher was capable and ready to adapt lessons to student's goals.
Amy was willing to come to me for my music lessons when I was unable to travel to her. Her professionalism is at a high standard and her musical knowledge is wide in scope. She is also an excellent teacher for adults and children, singles or groups. She's just plain awesome.
My daughter began taking voice lessons with Dustin a few weeks before her musical performance at high school. The improvement she made in just those few weeks was incredible. Even her director noticed the difference in her skill and confidence level. Dustin’s techniques and skill at coaching has really made a difference in my daughters overall ability. I highly recommend Dustin!
Me. Pat was my daughter's first piano teacher. She taught her her for 2 years - until we had to move to Austin. Ms. Pat had the right balance of patience and firmness for her students. This allows them to push ahead with understanding both trh instrument and music in general. My daughter made it into a very competitive percussion group (which includes keyboards) because of Ms. Pat's teaching. I highly recommend Ms. Pat for piano lessons!
The Piano teacher arrived on time, very good with the kids and had a lot of experience.
My 8 year old daughter has been taking piano from Amy for 2 years and I am amazed at how far she has come! Amy has a way of making each student feel like they are her number one priority.

I have more than 20 years of experience in the field. I have achieved my education at the Mantua Conservatory in Italy. I also played as a musician and session guitarist for numerous artists throughout international venues. I have been teaching music since 1992 in different institutions. My students range from 3 to 65 years old, including special needs and disabled. It is my experience and passion that I would gladly share with your school. I am available at your convenience to meet and discuss further details. I will attach my curriculum vitae and copies of my references. In the expectation of your quick response, I send you my sincere regards. Lorenzo Melchiorre
I teach guitar and singing lessons, and music theory to children and adults. Lessons are taught at Kenefick Southern Baptist Church. The church where I am employed requires a background check and for all who work with children to go through the Ministry Safe program which promotes safety for children and that protects children from abuse.
I specialize in trumpet, composition, theory, arranging and jazz improvisation for all levels and all ages.
Currently a music student in college, I began teaching guitar, piano and theory in high school to both educate people in more advanced musical performance, ability, or composition. Having trained eight students in only a year, I plan to use my experience in advanced education to become a professional music educator at the collegial level.
Guitar lessons are available right now at the Alvin Community College Music Academy. We offer beginner to advanced lessons from ages 6 and up. Its never too early or too late to start learning Guitar and gaining a deeper appreciation of music.
