Simply stated, Eric is awesome. He plays guitar like an angel and teaches with passion and patience. His lessons are specifically tailored to each students’ needs and interests. For instance, one of his lesson for my 8 year old son may encompass technique, music theory and history, songs, proper posture, etc. Therefore, each is unique and most valuable. Eric is amiable, open to communication, and punctual.

I had my first lesson today and have never had any experience in music theory or the piano. Not only did I learn about the instrument itself, but I also learned how to read some notes and play two songs in just one lesson! I highly recommend!!!

My 3 1/2 year old granddaughter had a great time. He was very patient with her attention span. A big icebreaker is his dog Angel. Kaylee will try music lessons again when she is just a bit older.

At first I was skeptical taking music theory from someone who is a piano player and not a guitar player like myself, but I was extremely impressed with his vast music knowledge and concepts/teaching methods. I now look at my instrument and practicing in a whole new light. I'm starting to improvise and write my own music now. If you're looking at taking your playing/musical talent to the next level then I would definitely recommend Ryan.

Jeff has been giving my 3 kids music lessons for the last 5 years. My 18 year old became an accomplished drummer under Jeff's instruction. Because of his varied talents, Jeff has been able to accommodate my 13 year old's wandering interests.(so far we've covered the bass, guitar and drums ;-) 0 My daughter, who is 9 has been taking lessons from Jeff since she was 6 and I'm always amazed by what she plays at home. Jeff is great with kids and adults alike and I would highly recommend him to anyone with a desire to learn an instrument!

I have taken my children, 10 and 15, to many studios for their music lessons. Both of them started around 7 years old. Over the years, I have seen many types of teachers or teaching methods. Ms. Ettelson, among all, in my opinion, is the only one with a balanced approach of classical, Suzuki, theory, and individual-specific method. Sitting in her classes with my child makes me feel that I should pay for the lessons as well, in addition to paying for my child, because it is very inspiring when she naturally conveys critical concepts and demonstrates techniques to overcome difficult parts. There is just so much more packed into any one lesson of hers. If you like music, you will love her piano lessons. If you love music, like me, you will appreciate the inspiration from this performing artist.

Ray is very knowledgable and works well with kids. He is able to explain music concepts such that my 11-year old is able to clearly understand. He is able to recognize and correct bad violin technique. Having him come to our home to give lessons is also very convenient.

Amy instructed my teenage daughter in voice and music theory over the course of about two years. Amy has a wonderful way of looking into the heart of a student to help them reach individual goals, customizes sessions and selections, and provides the proper challenge and encouragement to reach the next level. My daughter gained confidence in performance and now preforms with Opera Leggera, a local light opera group. Amy was also able to assist in coaching a last minute trio production for high school graduation that involved three girls with completely different vocal styles who never sang together previously . Her instruction paid off for a flawless rendition of The Star Spangled Banner, and all three girls and parents were impressed with the impact Amy's coaching had in only a few sessions. Amy's integrity, compassion, and her absolute love of music provide inspiration and excellence to students of all levels. Her pricing is fair and competitive. Superb accompaniment tracks are easily produced for minimal charge. Having moved on to college, my daughter greatly misses her time with Amy, and considers her not only a teacher, but friend.

Mike is an amazing instructor!!! His skills and aptitude are very polished and strong. As a voice coach he can actually sing how he teaches. His piano skills are on point his grand piano sounds outstanding. Mike plays pop music to Mozart and he actually plays piano and sings Italian opera at the same time which lends itself a much richer learning and real world experience. If your learning voice or piano or both from Mike you stand to acquire most of the skills necessary that create an accomplished musician and successful performer!!! Don't miss out Houston you have an amazing instructor in your own backyard....

Over the last 10 months I have been taking weekly piano lessons at the Vanover Music Academy in Houston with Dr. Krume Andreevski. My teacher is a highly educated talented pianist with real-life teaching experience while actively involved in performing musical activities. As an adult student I enjoy learning piano in a very casual, relaxed atmosphere. However, I very much appreciate that Krume’s teaching attitude provides strong discipline and professionalism. Friendly, approachable, organized, enthusiastic and very articulate Krume cares deeply about improving his piano teaching practices. He shows great flexibility to best accommodate each student’s unique skills, abilities, goals and needs. I do my scales, arpeggios, chords, Hanons and piano course exercises but at the same time my teacher insists on me playing Schuman (for now) because the ultimate goal of learning piano is making music. With exemplary stage presence and charisma, Krume has a special gift to connecting with his audience and always gets a great emotional response from his public. Joyfully alive, skillfully delectable, honest and filled with heartfelt emotion, his piano playing is always inspiring. I strongly recommend Mr. Krume Andreevski for students of all skill levels and ages who understand that learning the piano is a serious commitment. To achieve piano playing mastery you need the best quality teaching.

We've been going to Mr. D for 4 years. He is an amazing pianist and has a lot of tools (fun worksheets, songs, games) to help motivate kids to learn piano and piano theory. He also uses positive reinforcement (praise and stickers).
