First off Tomas was on time and ready to troubleshoot my problem. My dryer was shutting off all electricity in the house after running for 30 min. Tomas was willing to brainstorm and get to the root of the problem. Tomas spent 3 hrs including the time he had to go to the store and purchase the part. I felt this was rather quick since we had to wait close to an 30 min when he came over to start the dryer and watch it turn off the electricity and then he had to wait an additional 30 min after he installed the part to make sure it worked.

Tomas Suarez installed insulation and then hung, taped, and floated drywall in a 10x13' room of our home. We didn't want texture on the walls in this room, and he did a great job of floating it flat. He also replaced drywall in a 2x3' area in another room and matched the texture. Tomas gave us a fair bid and was very easy to communicate with via text and phone. He was pleasant while on site and even our toddlers enjoyed seeing him come and go through the back door!

Tomas was available when I needed him, even though my issue was extremely simple for him it was mind boggling to me! He was courteous, kind, and trustworthy. When you think customer service has disappeared, he made me feel important and as if I were his only customer! We need more businesses like his.

We requested quotes for a circuit breaker that kept tripping on Sunday. I used thumbtack and contacted some local electricians in Georgetown. I did not expect a response until Monday even though I needed the job done immediately. My daughters cannot sleep without a light and football games were at stake. I got three responses from Thumbtack and the local electricians did not even contact me at all. Tomas was the first response from Thumbtack and he had the most reasonable price for diagnosing problems. He was prompt, courteous and explained all the work performed. He was able to fix the tripping breaker the same day and guaranteed his work. We were very pleased with Tomas' work and with Thumbtack for finding us a great electrician.

I like to bid my jobs on how long I think it would take me to complete the project.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
They give me a call or text with details of their issue. I give them a quote over the phone and we discuss a date and time to come out. Depending on the size of the job I do ask for a deposit if necessary.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been doing manual work my whole life.
