FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Generally speaking, 3000 square foot print at $89.00/quarter for general pest control with a one time initial fee of $139.00. This is a bargain once you what we do on our initial service! Footprint does not equate to square footage of living space. You may have a 3 or 4 car garage that adds to the footprint. On the other hand, a multilevel home could easily be 6000 square feet with only a 2500 square footprint. In addition, we do not have contracts that you cannot get out of!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
CEU's yes. Regular meetings and conventions with my peers. I do them monthly although only 5 are required per year. I also subscribe to several Pest Control publications to stay abreast of the latest trends and product information. The biggest changes over this last year are the more stringent labels of pyrethroids and OSHA's change from MSDS to SDS data sheets. If you are going to be a modern and knowledgeable service provider it is imperative to have the most up to the minute information on rules and regulations as well as the latest industry trends.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always been an avid outdoors-man and have a love of nature and the environment. I had a termite issue myself many years ago and hired a pro to eradicate them. After a long chat with the service provider I found that he was looking for new blood. I decided to make a career change.
