WK Remodeling finished a total remodel of my single bathroom. They also did some serious magic on some pretty beat up sheet rock throughout my entire house. Billy & Homer worked quickly, thoroughly and honestly to get my bathroom back in one piece. I appreciated their honesty and zen-like calm when unexpected surprises came up. Their work really shines in all the little things that set up the finished product for success. These guys really pay attention to detail and pride themselves on not cutting corners. I was really impressed at how mindful they were about cleanliness. They were very methodical in their demo approach and ensured the space was safe for myself and my dogs at the end of every day. We received many bids before hiring WK Remodeling. They were by far the most up-front and understanding of our budget and needs. We have since hired WK Remodeling to perform some additional work on another house of ours and they will continue be our go-to contractors for any other major home upgrades.

We had an excellent experience with Billy of WK Design & Remodeling. He was quick to respond to our inquiry regarding a plumbing issue, came out first thing the next day to assess the situation and provide an estimate, and was back that afternoon to begin work. He was able to take care of the plumbing problem and restore the drywall that had to be cut out to get to the leaky valves. He always took the time to explain what he was going to do at each phase, and showed us the work that had been done when each phase was complete, which I very much appreciated. Flexible on scheduling, always friendly and professional, and stuck to the original estimate on pricing. We were very happy, and will call on WK Design & Remodeling again if/when the need arises.

After remodeling the first home that I bought, I decided that it was something that I wanted to deliver to other people. The enjoyment that I received from transforming my own home encouraged me to deliver a similar experience to others.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have experience working with clients who have saved their whole life for their remodel, and I have completed projects that have been completely funded by other people. I have completed jobs in the affluent neighborhoods in Austin as well as the up-and-coming East side neighborhoods.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Trust is the most important part of finding a remodeling contractor in Austin. Pay very close attention to the connection you make when meeting with contractors and trust your gut feeling on who was the right fit.
