I first met Lori as a well known local artist in the village of Ajijic, Mexico. Impressed with her portfolio, I commissioned her for a mural project on the terrace of my condo measuring about 10 ' by 50'. She quickly grasped the essence of my vision of a continuous jungle scene with life-like and life size three dimensional jungle plants and trees. Drawing from her arsenal of photographs, and with some of my own contributions, the jungle was composed of artistically rendered local flora, and it became a game, once the mural was completed, to find the location of the actual plant models around the village. Working with Lori was fun and rewarding, and the finished mural was magical in it essence and far exceeded my expectations and all facets of my initial vision. The mural became the talk of the town. I would highly recommend Lori Truly for any project of this nature, indeed any artistic pursuit, and she would be my first call in the future should another project present itself.
