After going through a number of screening interviews we selected Brandon’s team at Defiant Remodeling. What a great choice it was! Our job was a full kitchen rip out and replace - down to the studs! In addition, we had can light moved/installed, drywall repair/replace, hardwood floor install. Essentially a 1st floor remodel. A large job, with many skills needed, sequencing on target, and a constant eye for quality. The team delivered every time. Honest, polite, and always cleaned behind themselves. Dani managing schedules and skilled craftsmen like Fransisco, Joaquin, Oscar, and others. Give this team a chance - so glad we did!

A contractor (not Defiant) ruined the oak floors in my duplex to a level that prevented the new tenant from moving in. I tried for two weeks to get it repaired and each job failed. I contact Defiant Remodeling in a panic on a Sunday night and explained the terrible predicament that my new tenant was about to be homeless if we can’t get this done. His team was on the job the very next morning and I don’t technically live in their service area! They stripped the floor to the original wood, stained it and sealed it in a single day. My tenant could move in on Tuesday. I wish I had contacted Defiant on day one and in the future, they will be the first people I call for any repair or restoration. Pictured is the damage caused by a different contractor, then the completely stripped floor and finally the beautiful finished product.

I received quotes from 3 different contractors, and I'm so glad that I went with Defiant Remodeling. The work was top notch and if there was ever something that didn't look quite right throughout the process, the team made sure it was addressed and fixed to my satisfaction. Overall, the project took about a month and a half to complete which, especially considering all of the supply chain and labor challenges happening right now, was impressive. The project included the following: 1. Painting kitchen cabinets, installing new hardware 2. Taking a two level counter down to one level in the kitchen 3. Replacing granite countertops with quartz in the kitchen 4. Custom island build and installation 5. Breaking the upstairs "game room" into two rooms 6. Rerouting HVAC upstairs to accommodate the new wall 7. Moving an attic door/installing new steps in the attic 8. Painting upstairs 9. Re-carpeting upstairs 10. Painting a bedroom downstairs All-in-all, I am very happy with the results! There were some bumps along the way, but Defiant Remodeling did their best to smooth them out. In some ways, communication could have been better, but that is true with any contractor company.

I recently had Defiant Remodeling work on my master bathroom and master bedroom, and I'm overall quite pleased with their services. Their quick response to my concerns was impressive, and they efficiently addressed any issues that arose. The remodeling itself was carried out effectively and resulted in a beautiful transformation. My only suggestion for improvement would be for them to be slightly more proactive in communicating their plans throughout the project. Nonetheless, their responsiveness and quality of work earn them a solid five-star rating.
