Technician showed up on time and diagnosed the problem with a older Genie model opener almost immediately. The trolley screw had worn down and was not engaging. He had to order the part and said he would have it the next morning. After installing the trolley and testing the motor, we found that it wouldn't work. The technician waited about 15 minutes and tried again, but it would not work. He quickly diagnosed the problem to a bad capacitor. Again, he had to search several vendors to find one. After installing the new capacitor, the motor worked great. He also lubricated the hinges and rolls making the door operation much, much quieter! I appreciated his professionalism and willingness to discuss some of the basic maintenance considerations. We have only been in this house about a year and had never had a garage or garagedoor before. So, this was a learning experience for me and a wonderful experience with M&S Garage Services.
