Mike did a great job with our project. We had new countertops installed, and he came and reconnected our sink plumbing, disposal, and new faucet. He was attentive to detail, made sure we were aware of different issues, and worked to keep cost as low as possible. Also, he made himself available on short notice, trying to work around current jobs he had lined up. It was a very positive experience. Very knowledgable and courteous.
Dan is a great handy man! I had him rebuild the patio in the back and he did a great job. He cares about his work, is honest, and will let you know if there is something he can't do. I also hired Dan to replace some wood siding and some plumbing work. He does what he says he is going to do and makes sure it is done correctly. I will definitely hire him again.
Johnny is wonderkind handyman. He did electrical work for me and was efficient, on-time and fair in his pricing. He can do anything (electrical, plumbing, flooring, fencing, etc), which he does quick, yet it is professional work. I've got more projects lined up for him and I am pleased to recommend him to any homeowner.
I am so happy with Mr. Gamez and his crew! They came in and did tape and bed and textured the whole upstairs that we have rebuilt in our 1892 farmhouse. He was very knowledgeable, professional and absolutely timely with it all. It all turned out better than I could have imagined. I highly, highly recommend him and his work. We even added two bathroom tile jobs for him and the work started the next day. Seriously satisfied with work, price, and professionalism.
I hired Marcial Medina to disassemble and remove a patio roof that had partial collapsed in a storm. Marcial gave me a very fair quote and performed as agreed. His crew did a good job in clean up all debris when completed. I would use Marcial in the future.
Mr. Juan was extremely professional, polite and friendly. He worked quickly and competently. He did the initial work requested and additional work that came up. The price was more than reasonable. I would absolutely recommend him for any home improvement work you may need done! Job: Built new & install back patio door frame, painted 2-rooms, back patio door & all trim, self-leveling back patio, painted concrete front porch and back patio. A Job Well Done !!!
I needed about 100’ of wood fencing replaced and put it on Thumbtack one morning. James was one of the first to reply and setup a meeting. He showed up on time and gave me a bid. I got two additional bids and he was the cheapest. I asked about materials and how they installed the fence. I was satisfied with the answers and hired him James and his helper showed up when he said they would and had the fence replaced in just a few hours. Great guy, great price, and built the fence I wanted. I will use again when we replace another section on fence
This was a multi-project event. Over 200' of cedar fencing with 12' drive and a walk gate, and a 10' x 20' color impregnated patio and walkways with a textured surface imprint. I received numerous quotes, and Ascot Fence was right in the middle of them all, and the best overall when valid recommendations they provided for footings were implemented, and the fact they included the permit cost and did the legwork for Fort Worth permitting. I chose to finish the patio cover myself, for which the permit is valid for concrete and cover, to be completed within 6 months. The other contractors providing quotes never asked about my plans for a cover, which requires additional footings beneath the slab, not just a slab. Had I gone with another contractor I seriously considered first, I would have had a nice patio but not met the requirements for the cover. I would then have had to rip it out and start over. Total cost involved made Ascot the best all around deal! There were long weather delays and a couple of hiccups along the way caused by concrete suppliers, which were resolved by Andre. Have received numerous walk-by/drive-by compliments on the appearance of the fence, and the patio looks fine also (not exposed for walk-by comments). One neighbor asked if I won the lotto, or something! I will stain the fence myself once given a chance to dry properly, and it should look even better. The crews worked fast and seemed to know their assigned duties, so actual work time was only 2-2 1/2 days, total, spread over 2 weeks. I would hire Ascot Fence again, and will in the future for the back 190' of fence (assuming prices are still in the ballpark).
More than happy with hiring them to build my new patio cover. Gave me exactly what I wanted at a reasonable price and even with the delays caused by the rain, finished in the time they quoted. My neighbor was so impressed by the job they did they're talking to Dynamo to build a patio cover for them. Would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who asks me about having the same kind of project done that Dynamo did for me.
We hired Roberto for a fairly large size job, installing approx 2500 sq ft of wood flooring and painting 80% of a 3300 sq ft house. Robertos crew did a great job and were very professional. I highly recommend.
CJ helped me repaint my 3400 square foot home. Ceilings, walls everything. He was really great to work with. I called a couple references before selecting them. The price was the reason I selected them. They were well below the others and I was worried I wouldn't be happy. In full disclosure my home was empty and it probably made it easier on his crew. He also installed crown molding in my living room. I am so happy I selected them. They just came back about a month after finishing the job to clean or touch up any of the items on my tick list just like a new home builder would. When I stain my patio or instal patio blinds, I will call Carsa.
We had our small concrete patio extended and covered in flagstone by Marcelo and his crew. All work was completed in a timely manner, Marcelo kept us updated with photos when we were not home, he was always quick to respond with any questions we had and our patio looks beautiful! We can't wait for the weather to warm up so we can sit out on it and enjoy it! We are very happy that we chose Waterfalls Land Care to do the work and would highly recommend them!
Let me start by saying I would happily be a reference for Nick and HomeCrafters for anyone looking to have their roof replaced, windows redone, or any kind of home repair or construction. Heck, go to the website and look at the work! Earlier this summer, I contacted my insurance company about possible hail damage on the roof of my house after a recent hail storm. I had no idea of any damage, but I wanted to make sure (we all pay premiums, right?). The agent told me there was indeed damage and gave me a detailed estimate and a payout--minus my deductible--to file right there. In the meantime, I had decided that the 1987 windows in my Plano home, which were extremely clouded, neglected and in many cases *broken*, needed to be replaced. I put in some info on Thumbtack and was given five responses. My how those responses varied. Nick was really the only one who actually answered my questions and always responded. After reading all of the other reviews and seeing photos of his work, I got him to come out and give an estimate for the windows. Nick showed me the windows he used and did some more research, they have a great reviews and a really low U-factor and SHGC rating--and a LOT cheaper than the windows I had installed earlier from Lowes! So much so, I ultimately decided to have all of the windows in the house replaced. Homecrafters does full construction so I also talked to him about the roof and some of the ways my patio pergola was messed up. Nick gave me a wonderful deal where I was able to get the roof fixed and have enough money left over from the claim to help pay for the windows! When the work was done, it was done well, but with a few hiccups along the way. I understand how we always want construction projects to go perfectly, but that's just not always how it is. The roofing crew weren't quite fast enough to get tarps up before it started to rain a bit, so there was a some water stains done to some of the sheet rock. Plus one of the window installers inadvertently put his knee through the sheet rock while installing a window. However, Nick always addressed every issue and made sure it was taken care of. He would have other workers come out to fix any issues that arose, even if it was coming out of his pocket. Nick didn't ever raise the cost on me. What he quoted me was what I paid. The one thing we added on--a post for my patio because it was sagging--he only charged me for the wood and did the labor for free. Even after he was paid and the project was finished, he would still call to make sure everything was good. And better yet, he would return MY calls. Imagine that, a contractor that actually answers the phone and returns calls! All in all, I have to say it was a great experience, even if there are always a few issues that arise. The work was professional, the price was great, and the result is awesome. It always made me a bit uneasy having these large projects going with strangers going in and out doing construction, but I have to admit I'm pleased with the result and can highly recommend Nick and Homecrafters to anyone for any kind of home construction.
SPC added a stone wall around our flower bed and covered our existing concrete patio with flagstone. The work was finished ahead of schedule and looks amazing! We highly recommend Julius and his crew!
I had Duane and Dawn drywall my shop and man cave (16x 24 2 story barn). They did a good job and completed the job as agreed on. They showed up every day, didn't rush the work. On top of the great job, they are friendly, decent folks! I will use them again and I would recommend them anytime.
George and team did a great job on our patio and pergola. Would highly recommend them for other deck/patio projects.
I had a 14X24 porch created with half of it covered with a gable roof structure. DFW Reno Experts did the best job at working with my budget and giving me options. they were also very realistic in telling me what we could and could not do within this budget. The concrete was stained and the gable roof structure was cedar. The process had a slow start as Bruce (the contractor) had trouble getting everything coordinated and in the area I a live in concrete is in high demand. Once that happened it took about 2 weeks to complete. Minus the concrete staining as that cannot happen until at least 21 days after the concrete is poured to ensure proper curing. The concrete guys left a bit a mess behind which Bruce made sure to have cleaned up by the end of the process. I had some additional small requests that the contractor was happy to oblige. Our job also included electric kit for an outdoor fan and light and that was done nicely. The roof was was well done and blends so well into the main structure of the house. My only small drawback was the concrete stain guy. He had a bit of trouble getting the stain to work and it took 2 days to complete, he claimed he had to buy some acetone. I would think that with experience you would have already know this is necessary...but I am not the expert. The other issue here was in the process his stain gun exploded and soiled my patio furniture pillows. He was very honest and polite about the whole matter and it was a accident. DFW Reno Experts allowed me to purchase new cushions and pass them my receipt and took off that total from my ending balance. All worked out great in the end. Accidents happen. All in all the experience was pretty painless and I have had a couple of neighbors already stop by and ask me who did the work as my back porch is very visible from a busy road. I am happy to pass on this company's information. I will ask them to come back and work on the pergola portion next year when I am ready to make the addition on this porch project.
Jessie was very helpful and they did a wonderful job. We get compliments on our fence all the time.
Alex and Jorge were A+. I am very thankful to have hired them to do my two projects - kitchen and bathroom tile remodel. Their communication is great and they are committed to getting the job done how the customer likes it. They worked with me when I had a few additional request or special requests and they did everything with a good attitude. I previously hired a man by the name of John Rodriguez based out of Plano / North Texas and he was AWFUL. Stay away from him. I wish I hired Alex and Jorge before. They fixed all his work. Thanks A&J!
I needed a patio. Luis was able to be out to give me an estimate fast and good price. He knew exactly how to do the job fast and professionaly. Definetly will be using him again and I highly recommend him.
Sean was a pleasure to work with. He listened to our ideas, suggested alternatives and was very agreeable with our final choices. Sean was very responsive throughout the project. We are very happy with our new patio cover.
