I am a physician (M.D.), trained from Boston University and Harvard. For 9 years now, I have studied Ayurvedic and natural healing, in hospitals and schools in India. I also live a spiritual life, practicing yoga and meditation. I can also perform Ayurvedic Pulse Diagnosis. I am happy to help you in any way, from understanding your body's constitution, to creating a diet/food plan that will help achieve better health and bring your body's constitution into balance.
Helping people understand the choices they make about their food, their health, their body, mind and spirit, and seeing them transform from the knowledge that has been available to us for 1000's of years, is hugely satisfying to me.

Years of martial arts, P90X, experimenting with vegetarianism, organic foods, and supplements could not bring me the balance I needed to be truly healthy at 25 years old.
I lost the ability to digest any dairy or dairy by-product in October ’12. It started out like most people with lactose intolerance. By December I was sweating in pain and vomiting from accidentally eating any food that had a trace of dairy by-product.
After a number of trips to my family doctor, I realized there was no solution in western medicine beyond “take Lactaid, take Nexium, and make sure you don’t eat anything with dairy.” Needless to say, Lactaid and Nexium didn’t work at all. And traveling became nearly impossible with the no-dairy or dairy by-product rule.
I contacted Amit and told him my story. He gave me a month long cleanse. It worked. I tend to be an analyst and focus on numbers; I stopped by the same family doctor’s office to have my stats taken before, during, and after the cleanse. I lost 12.4 pounds and my blood pressure fell by 8/14. The nurse was impressed and surprised.
After the cleanse, I resumed on a diet Amit recommended for a week before I decided to really “push it” to see where my limit was. I ate milkshakes and cheesecakes without any pain. The only negative was it was the first time since I started the cleanse that I didn’t have tons of energy. That was what made me feel I needed the Ayurvedic lifestyle even more than what Amit had already told me. My girlfriend and I are beginning Yoga now. Thanks Amit!
