- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is as simple as it can get. I have a separate rate for regular visits and overnight stays. Each client has custom pricing based on individual needs and budget.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
There really is no continuing education for what I do, but I keep my ears open to learn new techniques when dealing with fearful or aggressive animals. I am a sponge for knowledge!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I had had enough of the corporate grind and decided it was time for a change. Someone asked me what my passion was and without hesitation I answered, "ANIMALS!" I saw an add in craigslist for a pet sitter needed, I applied, got the job, and decided that I wanted to fill my days sitting for pets. I'm so glad that I traded in my office suit for dog slobber and cat litter! I'm part of the lucky few that does their passion for their profession! I am truly fulfilled each day.
