- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Artisans Home Repair is a Time and Materials based company. This means that the customer only pays for services that are done for them in their home and only pays for the exact time it takes to get the job done. There is a one hour minimum of $145.00 and after that billing is $95.00 an hour, split into 15 minute increments so if our tech only works for 2 hours and 15 minutes on your project then you are only paying for 2 hours and 15 minutes. Materials are all billed as line items on the invoice so you can see exactly what you are paying for and can see that there isn't any hidden fees or price gouging. We pride ourselves on being as helpful and honest as possible with our customers.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Continuing education is required in many fields and home repairs is no exception. There are many new products available on a regular basis that allow us to provide the highest quality work on your project and staying on top of what those new developments are is one of the keys to our success.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Small "micro-contracting" jobs involving repairs to their homes that the homeowner either doesn't want to do themselves, doesn't know how to do or would prefer a professional to handle.
