- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After I receive an inquiry from a new client, I ask them questions about their goals and get to know them better, and I answer any questions they may have for me. Depending on their goal, I explain to them the steps we would take to get there and assure them I will be there every step of the way. I will give them my recommendation on how many times they should see me a week and let them decide on what they think is best to suit their goals and their budget. Once they decide, I, then, schedule a meet up time with them at the gym, Legend's Fit. When we meet up, we get them signed up and take measurements and pictures. I take them through a physical fitness assessment to evaluate where they currently stand with their physical fitness and to see any imbalances or limitations they may have. I go over with them what I saw during the assessment and how we can address any issues I noticed. I ask them what their current eating habits are and educate them on what changes they can make to improve it and reach their goals sooner. A person's diet is 70 percent of reaching your goals. I ask them if they have any questions or concerns. And we set up the next session.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently certified through National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Certified Personal Trainer and a Sports Performance Specialist. I currently hold an Associate of Science degree in Health Science. I, also, have 8 months of experience as a physical therapy technician while I was serving in the military. I am currently working on my bachelor's degree in Kinesiology.
