Throughout our communication, there were multiple discussions about the price, which you haggled over several times. I made every effort to provide a fair and transparent quote based on the scope of work. Additionally, since the unit was purchased used from a third party, expectations regarding responsibility for the entire system should be clear — my role was to install the unit and ensure it was functioning properly at the time I left. During the installation, I encountered unexpected challenges, such as the buried line set in the mud and the need to remove a gate, which I handled professionally and never mentioned. I also took the necessary steps to vacuum the system and confirm there were no leaks before leaving. Regarding the drain issue, I explained that drains typically do not require routine checking unless there is a specific problem. The clog appears to be due to lack of maintenance, which can lead to such issues over time. When you called back about the system not working, I returned promptly to assess the issue.. Upon inspection, I found that the work I performed earlier was still functioning correctly. the system shut off due to the overflow switch. I did my best to address the drain problem, but I advised that a plumber would need to further assess and repair the drain, as it was outside the scope of my work. Please rest assured that this drain issue does not mean that the work I performed is no longer under warranty. My warranty covers the installation and the system's proper operation at the time I completed the job. Drain maintenance and repairs are typically outside that scope, especially when caused by neglect or lack of maintenance.
