Media Room Mayhem to Movie Night Magic
After recently moving and having a second baby, our home was a disorganized nightmare. Some things were thrown haphazardly into random places just to get them “unpacked” while others were still sitting in boxes, waiting to be given a home. This was particularly true for our media room. It came to a point where I just avoided going in there at all!
Enter: AJ’s Organizing. From the beginning, I could tell Deanna genuinely enjoys creating order out of chaos. She can see a mess and visualize a structure. Her authentic excitement gave me confidence and hope.
The process was broken into two visits. During the first visit, we openly discussed how my family would use the space, what the priorities and goals were, the types of materials we were interested in, and our price ranges for various aspects of the project.
The second visit is what I like to call slay day! This is when the team executed the vision. They didn’t just put things in random containers or trash things. Rather, they thought through every change to create a system that is easy to maintain.
I am extremely grateful for AJ’s Organizing. We love to go into our media room now for family movie nights, gaming sessions, musical expression, and more. Finding what we need has never been easier, and, the best part is - no more moving boxes! We highly recommend using AJ’s Organizing to help you make your house a home.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a complimentary phone consultation.
A $50 in-home consultation fee.
I will provide a project quote within 24 hours. When you choose to hire me the consultation fee will be credited toward your project total.
My hourly rate is $65. The consultation is a non-refundable fee but can be rescheduled if necessary.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I come to your home, we will walk the project together to confirm the desired outcome. Customers typically hire me on the spot, as there's no time like the present to get started! I'll work quickly and efficiently. I can remove donated items for you, but you are responsible for trash. We may decide to purchase organizing bins/baskets, but I can also use what you already have.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My experience stems from a retail career that includes entertainment, fashion, and luxury sales. I also served as a director for The Container Store in both Austin and the Houston area and have helped train and develop dozens of organizing experts. My expertise in fashion and luxury sales provided me with a profound respect for the "stuff" that frequently overwhelms us.
