Media Room Mayhem to Movie Night Magic After recently moving and having a second baby, our home was a disorganized nightmare. Some things were thrown haphazardly into random places just to get them “unpacked” while others were still sitting in boxes, waiting to be given a home. This was particularly true for our media room. It came to a point where I just avoided going in there at all! Enter: AJ’s Organizing. From the beginning, I could tell Deanna genuinely enjoys creating order out of chaos. She can see a mess and visualize a structure. Her authentic excitement gave me confidence and hope. The process was broken into two visits. During the first visit, we openly discussed how my family would use the space, what the priorities and goals were, the types of materials we were interested in, and our price ranges for various aspects of the project. The second visit is what I like to call slay day! This is when the team executed the vision. They didn’t just put things in random containers or trash things. Rather, they thought through every change to create a system that is easy to maintain. I am extremely grateful for AJ’s Organizing. We love to go into our media room now for family movie nights, gaming sessions, musical expression, and more. Finding what we need has never been easier, and, the best part is - no more moving boxes! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a complimentary phone consultation, a $50 in-home consultation fee, and a subsequent hourly rate of $65. Following the in-home consultation, I will provide a project quote within 24 hours. Should you choose to proceed with my services, the consultation fee will be credited toward your project total. While the consultation fee is non-refundable, it can be rescheduled if necessary. Repeat customers benefit from a discounted rate. Additionally, if your referral leads to a project, I will contribute 3% of the profits to a charity of your choice in your name.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step involves scheduling a complimentary phone consultation. During this call, you are encouraged to discuss your organizational goals, and we will provide tailored recommendations to help you reach your objectives. If the phone consultation meets your expectations, we can arrange an in-home appointment for a consultation fee of $50, which will be applied as a credit to your project should you decide to hire our services.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My experience extends beyond entertainment, fashion, and luxury sales; I also served as a director for The Container Store in both Austin and the Houston area. Over my nine-year tenure with TCS, I trained and developed store employees to assist customers in designing, installing, and finalizing custom spaces. My expertise in fashion and luxury sales provided me with a profound comprehension of the "stuff" that frequently overwhelms us.
