Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: My CPR classes are taught by me, a full time professional Firefighter / Paramedic. Not only do I have outstanding knowledge in the field I advertise, but I also use my skills on a daily basis in my line of work. When you're looking for instruction and classes in CPR, you should always look for someone who is a professional and has experience in the field you are trying to learn. I urge anyone trying to obtain their CPR certification to use the most experienced person they can find. I provide this to my customers and I am always willing to provide my credentials at any time. I want my students to leave my class feeling confident and knowing they just obtained the best training possible. I love my job because I get to help people when they are in terrible, possible life threatening situations. I get to be the front line protection and resource when people are in need. When someone calls 911 and I show up, I want them to take a deep breath and know that I will do whatever it takes to make their situation they are facing better, however possible. I get no better satisfaction than knowing that even though the person I just helped might never see me again, their quality of life has changed because of the actions I took for them. This is what I do, and any fellow firefighter does for the public on a daily basis.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a certified Texas Department of Health Paramedic AND a Nationally Registered Paramedic. I go through at least 4 hours of continuing education each month to maintain sharp skills and learn new techniques or changes in medicine. I voluntarily teach citizens and upcoming paramedic students how to provide quality care in to patients they encounter. I work under the medical direction of Parkland Hospitals medical control as a 911 field paramedic. I am held accountable to pass a bi-annual exam as a paramedic and proove that I maintain quality knowledge and skills.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

If you are looking to get any sort of healthcare or medical certification, always look for someone who has experience in the field you are trying to learn. Try to stay away from fly by night schools or classes and dont hesitate to ask your instructor about their qualifications. A competent instructor will always be happy to show you their credentials and tell you about their experience.
