FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our customers contact Texas Plumbing Diagnostics by phone or by entering information on our website, tpdtx.com. If you're more comfortable contacting us through our website, we will respond to your request by e-mail.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes! Our technicians are constantly in training. Along with required yearly continuing education to keep them abreast of the latest plumbing information and code requirements, they are trained in water treatment, propane gas, grease interceptors, tankless water heaters, backflow prevention devices, rainwater harvesting, and more!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Here are a few of our most common jobs: 1) Augering drain and sewer lines. If only one fixture is draining slowly, it may only be the line serving that fixture that is clogged. However, if several fixtures or several areas in your home are slow draining, the probability is that the clog is in the main sewer line. 2) Repairing and installing water heaters. The hard water (high in mineral content) in San Antonio is also hard on water heaters. In electric heaters, the minerals can adhere to the heating element, causing it to arc. If your water heater is making noises or leaking, call Texas Plumbing Diagnostics right away. We respond to your emergency ... STAT!! 3. Installation and service of water softeners and water treatment systems. Due to the hard water conditions in San Antonio, every home should have a water softener. Call us Today if you need this vital piece of equipment. 4. Slab leaks: If you notice a puddle of water in your floor, you probably have a slab leak. Don't worry, at Texas Plumbing Diagnostics we handle slab leaks on a consistent basis. We'll get your repair work done and get you back up and running ASAP. We use state-of-the-art electronic leak detection equipment to quickly assess your leak; you can be confident your leak will be found, whether it's in the slab or in the ground.
