I got a quote for a fence job and thought, “Great! Finally some progress.” We even picked a date. But instead of building a fence, they built a solid wall of excuses. Three times I was told they were coming, and three times I waited like a hopeful golden retriever by the door. I even canceled another appointment just to give them a second chance—call it optimism or just plain foolishness. And of course, no heads-up when they ghosted me again. Not even a courtesy “we’re not coming” text. Good help these days? Rarer than a unicorn with a hammer.
