I can’t share how pleased I am with John’s Garage Door Repair LLC. I contacted John after two other visits by “big name” professionals you’ve probably seen on TV. Despite their claim to fairness/honesty, I found that both spent under 5 minutes on-site, handed me some cheap paper with “check marks” claiming they did a 50-point inspection, but told me I needed an entire new garage door system and immediately started positioning 3 different systems starting from minimum $800 up to $1,500! When I disagreed with their assessment and provided technical support reasoning, they became frustrated and simply said they would bill for their trip and left angry. Here is why you need to beware: The actual problem reported for these service calls was that the garage door was functioning properly — going up/down and operating with the wall switch without issue. The ONLY thing non-functional was the garage remotes. The remotes which used to be fully functional began working only perhaps 10% of the time shortly before the service call, then eventually not at all. FYI, Model: Chamberlain LiftMaster Professional 1/3 HP manufactured in 2006. Some background: I am a real estate broker professional who oversees properties and deals with multiple contractors/vendors a day. I can quickly spot a fake, a scam, or misleading businesses a mile away after doing this for so long. I want to share with you specific qualities about John that you will want to know (as a homeowner/as a professional in real estate business): • COURTEOUS. John was prompt to reply to my inquiry. Offered his number immediately. Welcomed me to call him to discuss further and arrange a meeting. I felt like I was in full control and he was there to help! • PROMPT. John committed to meeting at the property at a specific day/time and always was on-time. He even texted/called beforehand to inform me he was on his way. • COMMUNICATION. John consistently communicated with me throughout the entire process. From diagnosing, to arranging a meeting, coordinating schedules, assessment of issue + troubleshooting performed, options, next steps, and follow ups all the way to the invoice. Wow! • QUALITY/ACCURACY. John was up-front about what needed to be done. He not only told me what he troubleshot, but he explained his steps and why he came to his conclusion for repair. This helped reassure me that he was being honest and only repairing what was essential. He also shared other observations not related to the repair and offered to handle. I really appreciated this! Not meeting, but exceeding expectations. • INTEGRITY/TRUST. When a part was ordered that was not correct, John promptly informed me and explained what happened and when/how he would correct. This was another observation that helped me build trust with John and his work ethics. He wants it done right, as promised, and to estimate. • VALUE. The root cause of the issue turned out to be a defective main board in the motor. This ended up costing a minimal amount along with John’s repair fee. It was night/day cost difference between what John charged and what others were out doing committing robbery on people’s pockets! John’s pricing is fair. I have John’s information saved for any future repair issues I need on any of my properties, including my own personal home. If you are a business owner and don’t have time to mess around, please take my referral for John’s Garage Door Repair to get it done right the first time! If you are a homeowner, non-technical, and want someone you can trust, look no further! I am very happy to have found John’s Garage Door Repair LLC!

I contacted John last night to fix a garage door for my parents. He responded first thing this morning and was able to diagnose the problem in a few pictures. He came with all of the parts I needed and was able to fix the door quickly. My dad said he was a nice guy, and I was very happy with the speed at which he resolved the issue for them. I would definitely hire him in the future and recommend his services. Thanks, John!
