Introduction: Estimating Services Policy and Fee Quantity surveys and estimates will be developed for clients in a timely manner for a reasonable cost. Projects are not accepted if cannot be delivered as promised. Fees are established in advance and in writing for each project based on: 1. Lump Sum 2. Hourly Rate 3. Hourly Rate Not to Exceed We will respond to your request immediately. The take-off report will reflect the quantities in liner foot, square foot or count depending on what products or materials you have requested to be taken off, and this information must be provided before any cost estimate can be given by Phoenix Building Services. We will try to but not guarantee to provide you with a cost range the following day of recite of all necessary documents i.e. drawings, CDs or emailed PDF files, etc. providing all information will work properly, and this information is received prior to 11:00 AM of any normal work day. Your take-off report will be delivered by e-mail, fax, or U.S. mail upon your clearance of your payment generated by our invoice. Payments may be made in the form of checks, e-checks, money orders, EFTs (electronic funds transfers - your bank transfers from your banking account to Phoenix Building Services, LLC banking account). This is the fastest form of payment, and normally, there is no fee from either bank. Payment normally clears within 24 hours of transfer. Our service provides intellectual property based on our estimating, and therefore all payments must clear before estimate is given and there are no refunds granted. We use the most up-to-date estimating software that is on the market that has a value based on the cost, and we always strive for 100% accuracy, but as in life, this will not always be the case. This take-off service is basically for taking off quantities of those items that the general contractor may or may not elect to perform with his own work forces such as metal stud walls, drywall, tape and bed, acoustical ceilings, acoustical grid, paint qualities, flooring finishes, doors, windows, hardware and any items as directed by your firm. We offer full estimates for all work on the project, and this can be done in two ways. One way is to you R.S. Means data for all sub-trades on a complete take off, use R.S. Means data on a square foot for estimate. The bottom line is, we are here to serve you and will bend-over backwards to accommodate your needs by the most cost efficient methods.
