Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: We believe our work stands out from others who do what we do because we pride ourselves on friendliness and professionalism, we make sure to only hire licensed professionals to ensure client's safety, and we educate ourselves on the latest and past trends in fashion and art. When browsing through our portfolio pay close attention to detail... our work is polished, and perfected every time. When it comes to hair, we try our best to hide every bobbie pin, and have taken the time to learn new techniques in order to do so. We continually follow the latest trends, to keep up with the most up-to-date fashion, but we can also duplicate vintage trends from the past. We want our clients to have confindence in us- that no matter what look they are going for, whether it be from the 1920's finger wave or the 2012 "Carrie Underwood look", we can duplicate it to near perfection. Sanitation is key, especially when it comes to makeup. As licensed professionals, we know the proper techniques to sanitizing brushes, applicators, and the makeup itself, to ensure that our clients do not end up with infections...this is very imortant to us. As far as the makeup application itself goes, we stay current with the latest trends in fashion, and educate ourselves in all categories: bridal, editorial, HD- for tv and production, costume, professional headshots, theatrical, etc. Whatever the ocassion, and whatever the look: wedding, runway/fashion show, family portrait, halloween, theater, professional headshot, bridal/baby shower, birthday, a night out, prom, quinceanera,etc...we have you covered. We continually strive to be better, and we know that there is always room for improvement. We also ask for criticism: positive and negative, so that we may learn or strengths and weaknesses and improve.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

We specialize in weddings, and every weekend you can find us in our studio, or around town doing hair and makeup for brides and their closest friends and family. We love what we do. During the week we operate a full service salon offering: haircuts for the entire family, color, highlights/lowlights, perms, Awapuhi Keratin Treatments, basic manicures, and eyebrow/facial waxing.

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We recently participated in a project called MISSION Wedding, where a well deserving military couple was rewarded a dream wedding, as a thank-you for their time and service to our country. This wedding was sponsored by vendors in every category: venue: Kendall Plantation, florist: DeVinnie's Paradise, coordinator: Lisa Morales @ Haute Weddings, photographer: Teresa @ elan Imaging, video: Josh @ Limelight, furniture: Lounge Concept , hair & makeup: cHAIRish The Day, Bartending service: Haute Cocktails, and many more. We love our military, and thank them for their support and most of all their sacrifices.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

For your wedding day, or any special occasion, I highly recommend having your hair and makeup professionally done. Guests go home, food gets eaten, flowers wilt, but the pictures will last forever, and you want to look and feel your best.
