Alpha Omega painted my kitchen cabinets (sanded and sprayed cabinet doors and drawer fronts after removing the doors and drawers), changed light bulbs, fixed cracked areas on ceiling, replaced window boxes on my storage shed, and rehung the light over my kitchen sink. The crew was cheerful, creative and very pleasant to work with.

The Thumbtack question was What did we like about working with Alpha Omega, but Was only able to select 3 but also needed to mark off value and punctuality. They are a life saver, they responded after another contractor didn’t arrive at the time they informed me. So Lorie I was able to contact Lorie and Geraldo, they performed the job, and other additional repairs and the value was great, we are referring them to family and neighbors…. Thanks Lorie and Geraldo…

The accent wall work inside our home exceeded expectations. It has truly transformed the wall space and added a dynamic focal point creating a new conversation piece. The design we chose perfectly complements the overall decor, the attention to detail and the execution was commendable. The quality of craftsmanship is evident, making it a standout feature in the room. Overall, a fantastic job that has elevated the aesthetic appeal of our living space. We will surely be utilizing their expertise for future projects. Their work is top notch and we would surely suggest them to anyone looking for home improvements.

We hired Edgar and Lorie to complete and make corrections to an unfinished deck and pergola project that was left incomplete by a previous contractor. From the jump, the customer service displayed by them was outstanding. Lorie reached back out immediately after my initial message and they came out to provide a estimate that same week. I was very hesitant about hiring contractors again after our last experience (that lead us to this point of getting our deck finished/corrected), but Lorie and Edgar gave solid reassurance and instilled confidence in us. The project kicked off a few weeks later. As the work began, we were extremely happy with the initial progress. Edgar is an incredible carpenter and with Lorie by his side giving creative input, they really brought our vision to life for this outdoor family space we’d imagined. And he did it so quickly too! In just the first day, almost all of the wood work was done and we were so impressed (and still are). The next day, they came to complete some final touches and apply the stain/primer. Unfortunately, this is where our wonderful experience starts fading. Prior to them starting, I had expressed major worries about the upcoming bad weather and how it would affect the fresh stain. With the way that our deck was originally built, it holds quite a bit of water when it rains and I was concerned that applying stain before multiple days of rain would cause some issues. Lorie assured me that it would not and that the stain would dry before the rain. We trusted the professionals that they are and they continued with the job. Unfortunately, my fears came to light when 5 days of rain followed the staining and we started experiencing excessive peeling. We also noticed that the deck was (and still is) very sticky. We texted them to let them know and was advised that we bought the wrong kind of stain and should have bought stain that could be applied to new and worn wood, they came back and sanded a couple of the peeled spots and reapplied a thin layer of stain to those areas and some other lighter areas and left. Unfortunately our deck is still very sticky and there are some other inconsistent areas where it’s lighter/darker and spots where it dripped down on the standing elements. We reached out to a local painting/staining company and were advised that the stain we used was fine, but it was actually applied too fast and too thick, and should have actually been applied thinly in two separate sessions per the instructions on the bucket. Since then, the excess stain has began melting under the hot sun and bubbling up on the surface of our deck, leaving a very sticky residue in multiple areas and we now have to pay someone to strip the excess stain from all the deck boards and reapply stain. Lorrie and Edgar are nice people with incredible talent, and had we not had this stain issue, this rating would have been 5 stars.
