- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Not complicated. An accurate materials/labor price bid after we see the project in person.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Through the Thumbtack message portal, here, typically we like to get some photos of a project and give a rough estimate of cost; then inspect it in person and give a more accurate cost proposal/bid for doing the work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Even though I have been doing this professionally for 30 years, I am constantly improving my process, techniques and the utility of materials through testing the same in low risk environments/application, after I have done sufficient research on the same. Most of my new developments and improvements are building on what I already know, so there is very low risk involved for the customer.
