Mathias Kang is an amazing photographer. He is very professional yet familiar. He has an eye for finding the beauty, even in the not so beautiful, and pays close attention to every detail. His photographs are a work of art, and the subjects of his camera are perfectly depicted in every shot. He takes his subjects on an adventure to the point where you have no gauge of time, and he breaks the mold of a traditional photoshoot. I could not have picked a better photographer or location (abandoned warehouses, lumber yard, and railroad tracks) to do my engagement shoot. Thank you, Mathias Kang!

Mathias generously offered to take some photos of our band when we toured through his hometown. He drove us to a small town near San Antonio and photographed us at several different sites that he had scouted out beforehand. He experimented some in directing our poses, but I think the best shots he took were spontaneous and natural. We were very pleased with the outcome and use several of the photographs for promotion. One thing I would recommend is more detailed communication with his clients. He originally planned to drive us to a site 2 hours away, but it turned out that we didn't have enough time for that and he had to change his plans last minute.
