What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am very fair- I price based on the scope of the project. Sometimes an hourly rate makes more sense and other times I propose an overall fee for larger scale projects. Minimum 1-hour consultation*
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step is to meet at the project site- I
enjoy learning about clients design style, use and layout of space while learning specific goals and
taking photos. Once proposed project overview
and design ideas have been agreed upon, I get to work as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Organization is key; I start with a project folder which includes a breakdown of tasks, coordinated contractors and vendors with deadlines & budget reviews.
