I just did a search on pool table movers - we bought one through Walmart.com and they only delivered inside the front entry - and came across Thumbtack. I looked at the reviews for American Billiards and because they had the highest stars I contacted them. Cris is awesome to do business with! He and his son moved that 300lb pool table up those stairs and then put it together. We bought a fairly cheap (we aren't experts on pool tables) table but Cris still took the time to talk about pool tables and what we should look for in a good one. He said this is a good beginner table. We were all disappointed that there was a tear in the felt and how there was no way to fix this - the damage happened either during the warehouse stay or the delivery itself. But should we decide to have this table returned and find a different one, or keep this for a couple of years as a starter table and then buy a better one, we will DEFINITELY contact Cris again.

Cris did a fantastic job with this move and educating me on my new pool table! He was very accomodating! I was not able to meet him at the house I purchased the table from, but met him where it was being delivered! He made sure I was comfortable with placement of the table and made recommendations on ongoing care! Fair price as well! I'll absolutely hire him again!
