- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started as a billiard tech in 2004 @ Atex in Austin, TX where I was certified to work on Brunswick, Connelly, and Olhausen. All of our installs are Professional & Tournament ready. I moved back to San Antonio in 2008 where I worked @ Custom Pool Tables in San Marcos for 5 years as their head billiard technician. Opening San Antonio Pool Table Movers has been the biggest blessing! I have been able to allow the high quality work I perform reflect directly on myself. Running a business is deffinitely more work, but with a good, loyal crew behind me, we are able to continue to provide SA and surrounding areas with exceptional service with affordable pricing.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We are proud to do business for all our customers! However, to have done service for a few of our San Antonio Spurs, like Manuel Ginobili, Matt Boner & their family members was pretty cool! We have done tables for people from all walks of life. Military, lawyers, Dr's, teachers, plumbers, ect.. Again, we are proud to provide the same professional service to everyone!
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I would ask how they plan on transporting the table, ie. Flat bed trailer, back of pickup truck... We always properly disassemble, and load securely into covered transportation.
