The washing machine valve needed to be replaced, which required cutting into the drywall. I initially had a plumber come out to take a look, but they wanted to charge a significant amount just to open up the wall and provide an estimate, without giving us any indication of the potential total cost.
I contacted Alpha Shower for a second opinion, and they were able to provide a reasonable price for the entire job, including cutting into the wall, replacing the valve, and repairing the drywall afterward. They were also quick to respond.
