I cannot begin to express how grateful I am to Mike and his team for the outstanding work they did at my mother’s house following a major water leak. We initially requested a quote to just replace the flooring. However, I was pleased to learn that they do a lot more than just flooring since we also needed plumbing, drywall, painting, etc. It was nice being able to work through just one company. We also ended up getting the shower tiled too, which came out beautifully. Mike was very responsive throughout the entire process and made it easy to keep track of work through online invoicing. We also appreciated his sense of integrity and commitment to quality. We couldn’t be more pleased!

Mike was amazing and very responsive throughout the entire process. Even before hiring Mike, he offered to answer any questions regarding my DIY. I gave up and decided to call Mike and he was there the very next day to start the flooring. He and his employees did their thing and was respectful of my home. Our washing machine broke and we had only couple of days before the new set was installed. I texted Mike through Thumbtack that evening and had a quote within two hours. The next morning Mike and his team showed up. They did an excellent job of transforming my washroom into my vision. The work they did is flawless. They were professional, efficient and cleaned up the areas, even the outside area were they setup much better than it was originally. We are very happy with their work and plan to use them again.

For 23 years I was married to a home builder of upscale custom homes, Once the home was “dried in”, he was gone to the Gulf fishing! It was my job to take over and deal with each sub-contractor until the house was completed, I knew them all and we worked as a team thru each stage of construction. When I encountered Thumbtack I selected MF Tile and Wood Service. MIKE, the owner gave me a call almost immediately and was just completing a job nearby and said he would come by in about an hour. I liked this guy from the minute I met him—he was perfect in every way—professional, easy to understand and presented me with an affordable price for my project from start to finish—moving all furniture and replacing it when finished, removing carpet and padding and hauling it away when finished. I was embarrassed when I saw the dirt and debris on the concrete! Mike and his two-man crew came the next morning to tackle this job. They worked hard and as a team, my concrete was scraped clean and vacuumed and looked like new! By late afternoon the job was complete with my beautiful new flooring, completed with quarter-round to finish off the baseboards. The miters were perfect and all caulked to perfection and then all furniture put back in place. I was a HAPPY homeowner! But I have to tell you the best part—I’m an “armchair shopper”. And my choice, wanting a 5” board in a walnut color wood and thick—12mm. Mike looked at what I had purchased and saw that the labeling on the box said it was only 10mm thick. At that moment my heart sank! Little did I know that Mike had a warehouse of flooring and he began showing me his 12mm flooring on his phone. I knew what I liked and wanted and he offered me a terrific price, better than Lowe’s! But this isn’t the end of the story. He returned the next morning, loaded the 296 sq.ft. Of flooring, took it to Lowe’s, unloaded it and I got my refund for misrepresenting their merchandise! Mike & his workers are excellent in every respect—diligent, honest, contentious and strive for perfection! I can’t say enough about MF Tile and Wood Services!
