It depends on the service provided. Private lessons: We meet in your home, discuss theory and apply some training techniques with dog, I provide insight on behavior and and training approach. After the lesson you are expected to practice and will receive a homework chart or in depth email with your homework, key notes, and reading material relevant with your individual dog. As your mechanics and dog's obedience proficiency improve we meet every 1-4 weeks, beginning in your home, and venturing to parks and dog friendly spaces. Day training begins and ends with a private lesson. Phone and email support is provided as well as reading material throughout service. Your dog is picked up, trained and exercised either in your home, neighborhood, at a local park or a dog friendly locale for 1-3 hours depending on dogs proficiency level and stamina.
