FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rates vary slightly by service: • Handyman work: $60/hr • Furniture assembly: $50/hr • Picture & art hanging: $55/hr • Door repair: $60/hr • Trim & molding installation: $65/hr • Play equipment assembly: $50/hr One-hour minimum. You’ll always receive clear, upfront communication before any work begins.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I keep things simple and clear. First, I ask a few questions or request a photo so I understand the scope of the job. Then I provide an upfront estimate based on my hourly rate and the expected time. On the day of the job, I arrive on time, walk through the project with you, confirm the plan, and get to work. I clean up thoroughly afterward and make sure everything is done to your satisfaction before I leave. Communication, reliability, and respect for your home are my priorities.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have more than 25 years of hands-on experience in home repair, painting, finish carpentry, and general problem-solving around the house. I’m also a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS), which means I’m trained to understand safety, accessibility, and practical home modifications that make living spaces easier, safer, and more comfortable. My experience comes from decades of real-world work—projects of all sizes—and a commitment to doing things the right way. I bring that same care and professionalism to every job.
