- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
pricing electrical work is based on the area the work is to be performed. Is the area concealed, or exposed? Is there adequate space to maneuver to? Is the area on a wall which is opposite to a kitchen )there may be cabinet blocking inside)? Is the area on an exterior wall(this may limit the space to drill from above)? is the wall solid concrete or icyne/foam insulation is installed this could also include additional blocking)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Each year employees take continuing education courses which are required by law. This is another reason to check licenses
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
In 1978 I started working with AC and DC circuits. I started in Industrial electrical in 1980 worked construction from 1992 to 1996. I worked as a union electrician from 1997 to 2000. and then as a contractor since. My work has been an open opportunity from working on the Power Plant project in Seguin, offshore rigs off the coast.Most of my contracting work has included commercial and residential projects in the San Antonio Austin area
