FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
First, anyone who desires an oil portrait painting must like the style and quality of an artist's work. Check the artists qualifications; degrees, years in business, location, and payment policies. It is customary to pay at least half the money when the commission is agreed upon and half upon delivery. Is there a guarantee of satisfaction? Does the artist have a website with samples of their work? Are there testimonials from happy customers? Last, are you able to speak in person with the artist to explain exactly what you want and expect and receive confirmation that the artist can meet those expectations. Remember, price is not the major consideration when you are buying an oil portrait that will be handed down through the generations.
