Introduction: There are writers who want to be Faulkner-like. There are writers who want to be Hemingway-like. I do not have the talent of either of these brilliant writers. But I do have a very direct and clear writing style. (Obviously, the latter's writing philosophy.)
My writing approach is similar to that of a good editor: if you don't need it, delete it! Once you have the reader's attention, don't lose it by wandering aimlessly through a foggy maze of irrelevant details.
As an editor, whether it is fiction, nonfiction or instructional writing, I can slice it, rearrange it or complement it to make your work more interesting, compelling and comprehensible.
