- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As a shop at home service, our goal is to schedule an in home appointment to show products as well as measure. Our customer's appreciate this approach much better than the traditional floor buying experience, which is typically having to seek out a brick and mortar retailer and select a product without really knowing how it looks in their home. With Deca Floors, you are able to see different flooring options in your home's lighting, next to furniture, wall color and draperies. We are then able to immediately provide a quote in home. Our best selling products are stocked locally, so most installations have a very quick turn around (usually 2-3 days).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an extensive background in all facets of flooring sales and service operations. I managed a multi-facility flooring chain for several years before founding Deca Floors.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We most commonly service traditional retail flooring customers, but also serve a number of realtors, property managers and commercial projects. We also have a wholesale division for contractors and builders who are looking for carry-out only deals.
