I called TrueCore after Apple told me it would cost $775 to fix my MacBook Pro, telling me it had "water damage". I found TrueCore through Thumbtack and they got back to me almost immediately. After being extremely helpful my meeting me 1/2 way between their shop and my home. A few days later they called me and said my computer was working and ready to go, all for under $200, adding that it did NOT have water damage! I consider myself lucky to find TrueCore and will use them exclusively from now on, even though I hope I won't need future repairs!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We like to simplify things, if your within 30 miles of our Wylie labor price is 60 for the first two hours and 65 for any additional hours after that. Outside of 25 miles we charge 125 per hour just because we have someone in that area that we have contracted to do the job. We also provide a 75 flat rate price to recover data per Hard Drive.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, Patrick and Kenneth are currently enrolled in college to major in Software Development and Software Engineering.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Technology is constantly evolving and it is exciting to support all of the new software and hardware being developed around the world. We are always excited to see what is coming next.
