- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Cost for family, couples, and maternity booking range between $100-$250 Graduations, single-person portraits, and modeling range from $80-$150 Wedding Packages range from $200-$1000, must contact for an in-depth quote to better fit your needs and budget Note: All bookings require a 50% non-refundable deposit to reserve your date. If a cancellation occur, you can use your deposit towards a future booking!. All ranges are quotes for photo session and digital copies provided on a High Definition DVD. Quotes do not include cost of physical prints, canvases, photo books, or other physical proofs. This is to give my customers the most control and free range over their pictures while keeping it in anyone's budget. I can sit down and personalize all your physical copy needs for your style!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I want to know what a potential client is trying to get out of their pictures. What do you want to remember? What do you find beautiful about yourself/family/relationship? What kind of area/location are you wanting your pictures done? Beautiful smiles are captured in raw moments. It's my passion and goal to produce prints that a person will look at and see something beautiful they didn't see about themselves before. I want my people to feel comfortable with themselves during their photo shoot so I can create these candid images for the ol' scrapbook. Laughter is the best medicine; a close second is conversations that start with, "Soooo, this one time...".
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
It started with an AP class in high school (the original motive was free college credits). The main project where you earned your credit was a portfolio on a theme of your choice. This outlet for creativity snowballed from the satisfaction felt from creating not only pieces of art but photos others were excited to look back on. It's a different sense of accomplishment when you would see friends put up their new profile picture that is a magnet for compliments and you get to tell yourself, "I was the lucky one that got to take that. I captured that moment in time that reflects their beauty."
