About
`As a freelance editor, I have spent much of my time reading through and commenting on manuscripts to help make the work better and make my clients better writers. The more I’ve worked in this capacity as an editor, the more I have realized my passion for not just making quality work but for helping people become better at what they do. I currently contract out with Covenant Communications, Inc, to evaluate fiction and nonfiction manuscript submissions to determine if they are ready to be published or not. I also work part-time as an adjunct instructor, teaching college writing courses, at Weber State University as I get my Masters Degree in English. My previous employers include Brigham Young University professors, independent authors, and Jolly Fish Press, a fiction publishing house based out of Provo, UT. I am willing to contract out with you for the following services: developmental editing, copyediting, and proofreading. As an editor, my main goal is to make an author's work accurate, concise, and effective. I pledge to do no harm to a manuscript. My priority is to respect an author's viewpoints and to politely, accurately respond to an author's questions. As an editor, I value straightforward, clear communication with the authors with whom I work.
