FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every project is unique, and pricing can vary based on size, scope, and finish level. In remodeling, there are many variables — design choices, materials, and existing conditions all play a role — so we prefer to provide detailed, custom estimates rather than one-size-fits-all numbers. As a general guideline, smaller remodels such as bathrooms often start around $20,000–$30,000, full kitchen renovations around $40,000–$60,000, and complete home remodels can range from $100,000–$150,000+ depending on the scope. Our goal is always transparency — clear pricing, no surprises, and estimates that accurately reflect the quality your home deserves.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start by offering free ballpark estimates over the phone to help clients get a sense of what their project might cost. If the project fits within their goals and budget, we schedule an on-site consultation to take the next step. The consultation is an in-depth working session that typically includes a fee, which is credited toward the project if we move forward together. During that visit, I take detailed measurements, review the site, and discuss design ideas, materials, and finishes. I also create a 3D scan of the space and coordinate preliminary pricing with subcontractors to build an accurate scope of work and estimate. This process ensures that every project is fully planned and transparent from day one — no surprises, just clear communication and solid groundwork for a successful remodel.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve been surrounded by construction and remodeling work my whole life. I grew up helping remodel the homes my family lived in, which gave me an early appreciation for craftsmanship and hard work. My first job at 18 was in the construction field, where I spent two years learning the trade hands-on before starting my own fence company. That business quickly evolved into a fence and deck company, and from there I expanded into full home remodeling. Over the past several years, I’ve continued to refine my skills across framing, carpentry, finish work, and project management — experience that now drives every project we take on at Salt to Summit Construction & Renovation.
