- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do not necessarily have a 'complicated pricing system,' but I do not use an hourly rate. I prefer a fixed price for a project or for monthly services. Following a brief, free conversation with each potential client, I am able to put together an idea of what the job will involve and then come up with a fixed price.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am involved in many different groups that help me provide answers for my clients' questions and provide education. I also provide continuing education for many others.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
As the owner of a landscape design and project management company, I was frustrated with not understanding my money. I decided to take some self-study courses to better understand my accounting and QuickBooks. My eyes were opened when I learned that I could use my financial information to make better decisions and sleep better at night. Shortly after, I transitioned to the accounting field ambitious to help other business owners with my new found knowledge.
