Water Damage Cleanup and Restoration

I had a bathroom leak that soaked through the garage ceiling. I explained the severity of the leak to Cameron and Cody and they provided potential best/worst case scenarios. The damage couldn't be assessed until the ceiling was opened up. The next day, Christian came in and determined minimal damage (insulation) and no mold. Made suggestions on how to rectify the issue, the cost...less than an insurance claim deductible. These guys are honest, fair and are not just about getting that insurance payout. I hope I don't have another leak, but if I do I would certainly give them a call. I highly recommend these guys.

Water Damage Cleanup and Restoration

We had water seep beneath our flooring in the basement. We removed the flooring and cleaned the mold we could find. We called Disaster Doctors to have them inspect for further mold and provide a bid to finish the cleanup. Christian came out, inspected the area, tested for moisture, and told us what would need to be done to finish the job. He said that we did a good job, that a simple dry out was all that was required, and that it was probably not worth our money to hire them. I appreciate that a company would let us know when their services are not needed. Honesty is very valuable in doing business with someone.

Water Damage Cleanup and Restoration

We trust these guys. They gave me a ballpark estimate over the phone in no time and were in our home within a few hours, on a Friday night of all times. Unlike other contractors we've worked with, they seemed to understand the urgency of a home disaster when others were content to wait until the next week when they could "fit us in." They found the correct source of our water damage when another contractor was completely off in their theory. The service, expertise, and honesty was well appreciated and more than we could have hoped for.

Water Damage Cleanup and Restoration

Cameron responded very quickly, conducted a thorough damage review, and followed up appropriately to make sure he had answered our questions. Although we chose a different firm because we had a prior personal relationship with the contractor, we were impressed with Cameron and Disaster Doctors. Even after we told Cameron we'd choose a different firm, he provided suggestions on how we could work with our insurance company and recommended an expert in floor repair for us to consider. Very professional.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

All water damage companies pretty much charge the same rates for everything. Since it's insurance billed, most companies use an estimating software. Disaster Doctors goes above and beyond, providing the best customer service around. We treat your home as if it was our own, and take the time and put in the effort to make sure work is done as best as it could be.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Disaster Doctors takes the time to introduce ourselves to your family. We will take a look at the affected area and provide you with a quote on getting the area dried up and repaired.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Disaster Doctors is certified though the IICRC, The Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification. This means that our crews are ready to handle any disaster you may experience.
