Vizzi Design provides architectural design and on-site measuring services, with structural engineering available as needed. Our work covers a wide range of residential projects, including: • New Homes • Remodels • Additions • ADUs • Finished basements • On-Site Measuring and Existing Floor Plan creation • Exterior refreshes and 3D reviews How does the design process work? You get a link to our calendar and schedule at your convenience either day or evening. We then hop on Zoom call and work together on the floor plan in both 2D and 3D until the layout meets your needs. This includes a rough 3D top-down view of each floor to understand the relationship between rooms. We repeat this step until the layout works. You will receive a PDF of the floor plan and a link to the 3D Model after each design session. (fair warning, the 3D can be a little rough at this beginning stage, but we refine it over time as we solidify the design) We then work together on the exterior of the home. This may include making layout changes to accommodate exterior elements as needed. We repeat this step until the exterior works. We can then finalize the 3D model and the 2D PDF floor plan for a careful review by you both inside and out, making any adjustments as needed as questions or concerns arise. Then it’s off to engineering!! (If needed) While your project is at engineering, we can work on electrical layouts and other details on Zoom. Then we can button up the plans, and you’ll be off to get bids, permit or start building as needed. Should the building authority come back with any changes or need additional information, that is included for both engineering and design. What are the deliverables? A 3D Model link, and (3) PDF files as needed: A PDF design file, a separate set of PDF engineering plans, and a PDF of the engineering calculations. How long does it take? That’s up to you. The design portion can go back and forth quite a bit. If you are decisive, it will go quickly. 2-4 weeks is a reasonable time frame. The engineering will take about 2 weeks to complete.
