About
At Centurion Homes we provide an accurate and encompassing estimate to ensure that our customers are adequately prepared for all associated costs of a given project. Many of our competitors simply prepare pricing for the lowest scope of the work and do not include for all required or desired facets of the project so they can submit the lowest bid. Our estimate won't be the lowest but it will include everything you asked for as well as all else that will be required to get the job done right. With us you are prepared up font for for the total costs so that you can make an informed decision on your home remodeling or construction.

We were so pleased with Centurion. Our home looks beautiful and they were excellent to work with. All of their sub contractors were professional and did a great job. We had them do a complete remodel including a finished basement, kitchen and main floor gut, new flooring and paint upstairs and turning an open loft area into a laundry room.

Details: I have sketches and/or a basic idea of the project • Kitchen • Living room • Garage • Bathroom • Basement • Repairs to existing structure • More than 2,000 sq ft • Residential

I picked Centurion from Thumbtack to finish my basement and am more than happy with the end results. Working with Chris and Aaron was a great experience. It took just over 2 months for them to finish 1850 square feet of space - 3 bedrooms, 1 living room, 1 bathroom, 1 utility room, and a game room. They were great giving me a lot of options and very attentive to my input during the process. In the end it came out better than I had expected. I plan to use them again for any future needs and will recommend them to anyone I can.

They finished a room in our basement for us. Everything went according to plan, they were easy to communicate with and they stayed on schedule. I would recommend them to anyone.

We just had our basement finished by Centurion and we couldn't be happier. From the very beginning, they set themselves apart from the other contractors that provided us an estimate. During the initial estimate, Aaron was professional and friendly (qualities that he would continue to exhibit throughout the entire build.) Additionally, and what I appreciated the most above all of the other contractors, the quote that they provided was detailed and itemized and made us feel very comfortable that there would not be any hidden costs and we would get exactly what we wanted. They were also very patient with us and were flexible when we needed to make changes and, even with those changes and disruptions, they were still very close to meeting their original deadline.

Aaron and Chris and their crew did a fabulous job on our basement project. We had a vision of what we wanted and they did go the extra mile. After providing them the floorplan and a couple visits to go over the bid and details of the price it was a easy decision to go with Centurion Homes. Their bid was not just a quote but actual cost. It was refreshing to know our budget and stay within it. We made some changes deciding to do some of the finishes ourselves. My only concern was could I keep up with them and get my commitments done before they had sub contractors at the house. Thank your team for us! Dwayne and Terri.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Most commonly our work load consists of home remodels (kitchens, bathrooms, etc.), additions, and basement finishing. We provide broad range of construction services, from small scale remodels to high end custom construction, and even assisting with finding and purchasing real property as one of our owners is also a licensed Real Estate agent with Home Basics Real Estate. We do projects in both the residential and commercial sectors.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When looking to hire a contractor it is important to understand that not all estimates are created equal. For most construction projects it takes a good deal of time to generate an estimate that accurately accounts for all the many details. When comparing bids one must remember, if an item isn't listed in the detail it is not likely included and you may be required to pay an extra for something you assumed should have been included. When comparing estimates, check to see if the same things are specifically detailed in each. All to often that low price no detail bid will ends up costing more than anyone else due to the premiums charged on the "not included's". Be careful to choose a competitively priced well detailed bid but most importantly, hire someone that you can feel like you would work well with, that seems trustworthy, and inspires your confidence that you project will be done according to your desires.
