About
At Centurion Homes we provide an accurate and encompassing estimate to ensure that our customers are adequately prepared for all associated costs of a given project. Many of our competitors simply prepare pricing for the lowest scope of the work and do not include for all required or desired facets of the project so they can submit the lowest bid. Our estimate won't be the lowest but it will include everything you asked for as well as all else that will be required to get the job done right. With us you are prepared up font for for the total costs so that you can make an informed decision on your home remodeling or construction.

Hired on Thumbtack

I picked Centurion from Thumbtack to finish my basement and am more than happy with the end results. Working with Chris and Aaron was a great experience. It took just over 2 months for them to finish 1850 square feet of space - 3 bedrooms, 1 living room, 1 bathroom, 1 utility room, and a game room. They were great giving me a lot of options and very attentive to my input during the process. In the end it came out better than I had expected. I plan to use them again for any future needs and will recommend them to anyone I can.

Hired on Thumbtack

We just had our basement finished by Centurion and we couldn't be happier. From the very beginning, they set themselves apart from the other contractors that provided us an estimate. During the initial estimate, Aaron was professional and friendly (qualities that he would continue to exhibit throughout the entire build.) Additionally, and what I appreciated the most above all of the other contractors, the quote that they provided was detailed and itemized and made us feel very comfortable that there would not be any hidden costs and we would get exactly what we wanted. They were also very patient with us and were flexible when we needed to make changes and, even with those changes and disruptions, they were still very close to meeting their original deadline.

Aaron and Chris at Centurion Building Solutions were a pleasure to work with. They answered our request for a bid promptly and had full information and a complete bid for our project more quickly than expected. After we decided to work with Centurion, they came to our home and explained the process and scheduled a time frame for work to begin. They were detail oriented and called us when they ran into a snag, keeping us fully in the loop. When work was complete, the clean up was so thorough that you wouldn't even know they had been there. They did a great job, were very fair and a pleasure to work with.

Moving from California to Utah it was challenging to find a reputable basement contractor. We did the usual Yelp, Angies List, and Google searches and came up with 6 we felt we should meet with. Out of the six contractors one was too busy another forgot about us. Down to four, two contractors just put together a simple one page bid based on the square footage I gave them. To us this lacked details and they seemed reluctant to put much effort into actually visiting our new home to generate a bid and discussing ideas. Down to two contractors, Centurion caught our attention as they were quicker to respond to all of our questions, to visit our home and provide suggestions for building a better basement while the other builder seemed to be newer in the basement industry and it took several messages to get them to visit our home though they finally did. Both bids came in about the same price but we decided to use Centurion they were more responsive, had more options for us to decide on and we liked that they have been using the same sub-contractors for several years. Hope this helps, meet with Centurion you won’t be disappointed.

After giving several bids from several contractors, we decided to finish our basement with Centurion homes. They completed the job on time and within budget! They were super easy to work with with last minute changes and super responsive whenever we needed anything. Would definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Most commonly our work load consists of home remodels (kitchens, bathrooms, etc.), additions, and basement finishing. We provide broad range of construction services, from small scale remodels to high end custom construction, and even assisting with finding and purchasing real property as one of our owners is also a licensed Real Estate agent with Home Basics Real Estate. We do projects in both the residential and commercial sectors.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When looking to hire a contractor it is important to understand that not all estimates are created equal. For most construction projects it takes a good deal of time to generate an estimate that accurately accounts for all the many details. When comparing bids one must remember, if an item isn't listed in the detail it is not likely included and you may be required to pay an extra for something you assumed should have been included. When comparing estimates, check to see if the same things are specifically detailed in each. All to often that low price no detail bid will ends up costing more than anyone else due to the premiums charged on the "not included's". Be careful to choose a competitively priced well detailed bid but most importantly, hire someone that you can feel like you would work well with, that seems trustworthy, and inspires your confidence that you project will be done according to your desires.
