I’m in Salt Lake City and recently had an issue where my garage door suddenly stopped opening properly. The opener was running but the door barely moved and made a loud strain sound. I called Tier One Garage Door Service to have someone take a look. Tom came out and quickly figured out that one of the springs had failed and the opener was struggling because of it. He replaced the broken spring, checked the balance of the door, and then adjusted the opener so everything worked together correctly again. He also tested the door several times and made sure the sensors and tracks were all in good shape.Now the door opens smoothly and much quieter than before. The whole repair was handled professionally and explained clearly. I’d definitely recommend Tier One Garage Door Service to anyone in Salt Lake City who needs garage door spring or opener repair

Dean and Gary did an excellent job installing our new garage door opener. I could tell that we were in great hands as soon as they arrived. They were friendly, explained my options clearly, and worked diligently. We are so happy with our new garage door opener. Who knew a knew a garage door opener could WOW me! had an issue where my garage door wouldn’t open Friday morning. The opener was running, but the door felt extremely heavy and wouldn’t budge. I didn’t want to force it, so I called Tier One Garage Door Service after finding them online. Zach came out later that day and quickly figured out that one of the springs had broken. He explained what happened, replaced the spring, checked the cables and rollers, and made sure the door was properly balanced before leaving. He ran the door several times and had me test it too so I felt confident everything was working right The door is now opening smoothly and quietly again. The whole process was simple and stress free. Our garage door came off the track at the worst possible time, late Sunday afternoon around 4:30. We had no idea what to do and felt completely stuck. I spoke with Zach at Tier One and immediately felt better when he told me they could send someone out quickly. By 5:00, Adam was at our house and got right to work. He was professional, calm, and clearly knew what he was doing. He explained what caused the issue, carefully reset the door, and had everything running smoothly again in about an hour. The whole process felt organized and efficient. After it was fixed, I called Zach to thank him for responding so fast and taking care of the problem the same day.
