- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Certain services like flooring & painting are estimated per square foot. Trim installation is usually estimated per lineal foot. Other services are time based estimates.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I only do in-person estimates. This helps avoid confusion and allows me to walk a client through every aspect of the project and answer all of their questions and give an accurate quote. Once a quote has been given and accepted, I require a 50% deposit to solidify your booking. The remaining 50% is paid upon completion of the project. I do not mark-up materials, I charge for labor only. - What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with customers of varying lifestyles & backgrounds. That is one of the things I love about my job. I'm always meeting new & different people and it's delightful!
