About
I'm an experienced professional singer and voice teacher recently transplanted to Utah from Washington DC. I have degrees in voice performance, pedagogy, and choral conducting, and most recently completed my doctoral studies in opera performance. In addition to sound vocal technique, my philosophy for teaching voice is to concurrently equip the singer with the dramatic skills to become a well rounded singing-actor. I offer a discount for students who pay by the month. Those rates are $200 for 60 minute lessons, $150 for 45 minutes, $100 for 30 minutes. Individual lesson rates are $60, $45, and $30 respectively. I love the vocal arts. There is something magical about the capacity of the human voice to be an expressive musical tool. The potential for delicacy, power, and beauty that is present in the human vocal mechanism is inspiring. Come and let's explore your vocal potential together!

Dr. Eversole has been amazing to work with. He has helped me in countless ways over the past year. I can’t even believe how much progress I have made. He has helped me with sight reading. Before, I would listen to a track and sing along once I had it memorized, but now I can pick up a score and begin to sight read all thanks to Dr. Eversole. He has taught me things I would have never dreamed of learning. He has taught me IPA/ The Phonetic Alphabet, and various scales on the piano. And he has helped me with war training as well. He gives the best feedback, and helps one progress and grow in so many ways.

Working with Anthony Eversole has been such an amazing experience. Not only is he very well trained, but he knows how to explain technique and theory in a way that is easy to grasp the idea of whatever he is teaching. If you work with him, you will not only be getting a great voice teacher, but you will also be gaining life long skills in your musical career.

In all honesty, the quality of the teaching was quite good, but it's the students that carry the problem. The content we are being taught is way out of our level and some are joining to sing for fun instead of professionally, so the classical songs we sing might discourage us from the work. Also, what we are being taught is more fitting for students with some singing background and the other students who don't have this can feel very lost in all the work and are unable to enjoy the class. Even though I have some understanding of music from taking piano lessons, it's still hard for me to grasp some of the songs we sing. Overall, I did feel improvement in my voice and I have less stage fright. Though I do feel less motivated to take the class again.
