We’d like to clarify the scope for anyone reading this review. The service requested was a (4 hour garden weed cleanup), not full lawn weed removal. The yard had extensive weeds throughout the lawn and very little established turf. We initially recommended a lawn restoration plan (overseeding and seasonal weed control), but the customer declined and chose the smaller garden bed cleanup service instead. About three hours into the job we informed the customer that the amount of weeds present meant the work would take longer than the original four hours. The customer approved up to five hours only. Our 2 person crew ultimately stayed about seven hours on site but only charged for five hours ($225) in order to finish the garden areas as best as possible. During that time we removed weeds in the garden beds and improved the lawn edges. The corner of the lawn shown in the photo is marked by the sprinkler head pictured above, which defines the square lawn boundary, so we intentionally maintained that shape rather than digging up the lawn and rounding the corner. We also offered weed prevention for the garden areas to help stop new growth, but the customer declined. The photo posted was taken several days after the service following rain, (pictured soil is damp). Which can cause new weed growth to appear quickly in heavily infested areas. Properties with this level of weed growth typically require a full restoration or multiple visits to properly correct. Even so, we stayed extra to improve the property as much as possible within the requested service.
