Hi, I’m Jason Sims the owner of Sims Home Repairs. I’ve been a handyman for several years and bring many more years of hands-on construction experience. I’m formally trained as a painter, roofer, and plumber, and can handle most tasks in between.
As a one-man shop with 5 years in business, I’m often more affordable than larger companies. While some projects may take a bit longer, I focus on doing the job right the first time.
I take great care of every client and aim to deliver a true five-star experience. Whether you need a quick refresh with paint or have a list of repairs, I can usually take care of everything my clients need.
I’d be happy to help with your next project.

Working with Sims home repairs was great! Jason reached out almost immediately, came out to quote me for my project the same day, and then did all of the necessary labor for framing/installing sheet rock for my project. He was kind and communicative. I would definitely recommend working with him.

We had a mix of projects from Plumbing to electrical. Sims immediately called me to go over the projects to ensure he better understood the projects. We are on a tight budget and really appreciated his thoughts on ways to do the repairs in the most budget-conscious way, giving us options to choose from. He was creative and efficient. We will be hiring him again for more projects to come!

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I always lead with my best price. Being a one man show means a lot of times I’m less expensive then my competitors, it may take a little longer then big companies, but my customers seem to be happy with the results.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I’ve always been a fixer. I’ve been building things as long as I can remember. I went full time on my own in November of 2021
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask questions until you’re comfortable. Give more than enough details. I can’t read minds, let me know what you want super specifically.
